The Asian man exhaled slowly, the tendrils of smoke curling slowly from his thin lips to add to the hazy mass forming at the ceiling. His brown eyes were slightly blood-shot from the drugs, drooping at half-mast. He held his pipe lazily, watching the smoke curl and twist on its ascent to the ceiling. His robes were lazily drawn around him as he lazed on the lush crimson and gold pillows. ((DERPTOTHEHERPOFTHEDERP))

Arthur entered the room after knocking on the huge doors, dragging the full chest behind him silently. He bit the inside of his cheek nervously. Professional.. Think professional. He thought to himself over and over. How he hated this job. As he entered the room, the stench hit him. He almost vomited. "Your payment as promised by the queen.. He said in a strong voice as he opened the chest. The round balls of the addictive drug falling from it onto the floor. He picked them back up and placed them carefully inside before getting ready to turn on his heel and leave. He wouldn't be able to take the smell much longer.

"Stay awhile, Nǚwáng de gǒu," the Asian crooned, inhaling the sweet smoke once more. "Have some tea." The man smiled gently, his glossy chestnut eyes watching the British man carefully, though really he didn't really mind what happened either way. The feeling of euphoria was enough alone, but company was nice, though after having smoked as much as he had just that past day was enough to slow his mind to a point where conversation would be slow.

The blond paused and sighed, the best he could do, the most apology he could give was his respect and kindness. He moved closer to the Asian man, growing closer to the sickly smell. His green eyes peered at the Chinese with a small bit of sadness. "You.. You look well today." He said striking an awkward conversation, his voice lowered.

A quiet, smooth laugh escaped the Chinese man's lips, sweet smoke billowing from his mouth as he did. "As do you," he set the pipe down on its stand slowly, trailing his thin fingers along the intricate carvings in the wood of the pipe before letting his hand fall to rest on the pillows he was lounging on.

Arthur awkwardly took a seat next to the other. He began pouring tea for himself and the man next to him.

"Your technique sucks," the older nation chuckled, watching the Englishman's hands as the tea was poured. "Is that how you Yīngguó pour tea?"

England ignored the rude comment and practically shoved the tea cup at the Asian. He kept his eyes down, keeping a silence.

"I'll have to give you a lesson on pouring tea sometime," the man crooned, picking up his pipe again. A small smile, almost mocking, passed over his lips before he took another drag of the sweet drug, closing his eyes. He exhaled through his nose, opening his eyes again to watch the blond man past the thin wisps of smoke curling up to the ceiling.

He breathed in the smoke that came his way and blew it back out. Moments after his eyes closed, he seemed to be in deep thought as he buried his face in his hands.

"...are you thinking? ...slowly dying?" a rough laugh escaped the Asian's mouth as he set the pipe down again, settling back into the pillows.

Slowly, Yao leaned forward, placing one thin hand on the Englishman's head. He smoothed the golden hair gently, processing his words through the haze of a high. "Dying is a painful thing...never wish for death, for it will come for you just when you find life to be beautiful," he said slowly, his words rolling off his tongue slowly.

Arthur rolled his eyes. "When you deserve death.. Then it's different." He murmured, scooting away from the hands touching his hair. He practically jumped away. He gave a faint smile. "Dying is still not so bad."

"This feeling of euphoria takes away my worries of the coming world," he breathed slowly, smoothing his robes gently. "Do you realize how much this world has changed since I first came to be? Being like this is a nice distraction from it all." He leaned forward, brushing the blond's hair again with his thin fingers, combing it gently, almost like a mother would comb her child's hair. A soft laugh escaped his lips, his eyes falling closed for a moment. He slumped forward, resting his head in the Englishman's lap, hands lingering on his arms. "I'm a mess..." he chuckled quietly, almost to himself.

The englishman's guard had a hole and it seemed the Asian had found it, he closed his eyes and relaxed. He cupped the other's cheeks, staring down into those eyes. He grabbed the pipe gently, taking a puff from the pipe himself, he was accustomed to the drug for pain, so the high was different. He blew a ring of smoke that circled around the Asian's head. The unintentional kiss of sharing the pipe was not so strange.

Leaning into the touch, Yao reached up and seized the other man's hand holding the pipe gently, glossy eyes watching him carefully as he guided the pipe to his own lips. "Seems that you have finally given in," he crooned softly before taking a deep drag of that sweet, sweet drug. He let the smoke curl and twist slowly around the two of them as he exhaled, settling into the blond man's lap slowly, as if he intended to stay.

The blonde's green eyes stared into brown. he let out a soft hun as he breaked in the sickly cloud of smoke. He wasnt addicted to the drug, but the man using it.

"Wǒ bù zhīdào..." he whispered quietly, moving to support himself with his free hand as he sat up, other hand still holding the blond's. He leaned closer to the Englishman's face, breathing in his scent slowly, lips twitching in a smile, brown eyes watching the other as he moved closer. "Do you taste like scones and opium, xiǎo xiānnǚ?"

"I won't know unless I try," he breathed, guiding the pipe to his thin lips once more. He inhaled the drug, resting his other hand on the Englishman's shoulder to steady himself. "You must at least taste like scones." He exhaled slowly, smoke coiling around them once more before it drifted to the ceiling slowly. He leaned closer, long strands of hair falling in his face as his glossy eyes searched the other man's eyes carefully. He, in an almost timid manner, pressed his lips to the blond's, a cocky smirk still managing to work its way onto his lips even still.

The Asian took that chance to lick the British man's lips, testing his flavor almost. He pulled back, a thoughtful (or as thoughtful as it could be at the moment) look passing over his face as he took another drag of his pipe. Exhaling slowly through his nose, Yao spoke slowly, "Not quite like scones..."
